Description
These Deluxe Barrel Vises are made by our friend Bob "The Viper" Pastor. Machined from 6061 aluminum and finished with a durable, baked on, non-slip powdercoat, these deluxe barrel vises feature the usual hardened bolts and nuts along with fully captured return spings. The return springs prevent the top of the vise from flopping around, making inserting and removing barrels from the vise much quicker and easier. This feature along with the powdercoat finish protects the finish of your barrels from scratches and most importantly protects the crown of the muzzle. You will not find a higher quality barrel vise with these features anywhere.
We hear a lot of "Which action wrench is for me?" from our customers. To us, it all boils down to what you need in a barrel vise.
This barrel vise features:
- Durable powder coated finish
- Return springs
- Moderate price

Viper barrel vise
Great vise. I’ve used this for two Tikka swaps and with a shim to hold the sporter barrel in it worked perfectly.

Viper Barrel Vise
Works amazing, you can just tell by looking at it that it’s high quality. I didn’t use anything in between the barrel and the vise and I had zero slip or marring. Can’t recommend enough

Viper Barrel Vise
I shopped around and PMA had the best price I could find by $10. I am retired and always looking for a bargain. The finish is beautiful and the vise is compact compared to others I looked at. Best of all it performed perfectly. I removed the barrel from a Savage model 12 short action in no time. I simply tightened it down with a 1/2” drive ratchet, no cheater bar required. I did use some blue painter’s tape to wrap the barrel. Next up is removing the barrel from a 70’s vintage Remington short action.
