Description
Expanding the case neck is an important step in the neck turning process, but many reloaders are finding case neck expanding equally important even if not neck turning. Running new brass over an expanding mandrel as a part of your case prep routine is always a good idea. This step irons out any dings, prepares the case mouth for deburring and uniforms neck tension.

Expander die body.
Once I figured it out it was a hex head bolt that holds the expander mandrels in it worked as advertised. On the recommendation of PMA I kept the hex bolt slightly loose to allow a little bit of free float for the mandrel. Did exactly what was supposed to do.

Expander Die Body
I shoot a 22 Waldog and 6 Talldog, neither of which are very darn tall! This expander die works very well with these shorter cases and my PPC. I have several expander dies and this one stays with my short range brass prep kit.

Expander Die Body
I purchased this so I wouldn't have to switch body from 308 to 6.5 set-ups on a progressive press. Work great!
