PMA Gen II Barrel Vise

Bought this to remove the notoriously tight Tikka barrel. Torqued the nuts to 50ft-lbs and it would still spin in the vise. 3D printed some split bushings to match the taper of the barrel and profile of the jaws. One solid whack and it came off. Had no issue on the install of the new barrel just using leather. Saved a bunch of money buying this vise over the crazy expensive ones. I’d actually say the PMA is better than those using the 3D printed split bushings with its 3in of grip length.

Perfect product in all ways. I had a couple barrels needing removed ranging from Tikas to K98s (sporters being restored) and this held tight enough to remove all of them. Others I had and were using would slip but not this guy. Buy it, don’t even think about it, buy it and never have to buy any other again.

Got this to install barrels on actions and muzzle breaks onto barrels. Works great all the way up to competition countour barrels. Used electrical tape to protect the barrel, clamped it down, held great with zero movement.
